Hey girls. I hope you’re all hanging in there with all that’s going on right now. It’s definitely a worrisome time for all but we’ve got to try and stay as positive as possible. I want to share a few items with you girls to help get you through these coming weeks / months ahead. I know a lot of us are working from home or at least spending a ton more time at home. I want to give a few tips to staying productive, busy & not completely losing your mind!
+ Morning Routine! Just because you may not be getting up to get out the door to work on time, I suggest still creating a morning routine to stay productive. Set an alarm (don’t sleep in too late), brush your teeth, eat a good breakfast, get dressed. DEF don’t get too dolled up but throw on a cozy sweat set or some clean pj’s. Wash your face & ditch the makeup but keep up with your skincare routine. Here are some of my current favorite lounge & pj sets.
+ Keep a designated area for work. I work from home a lot and it truly helps having an area that is clean and tidy for working. Having a essential oil diffuser in your work space is a great way to help yourself focus & keep relaxed. Just from personal experience it’s hard to feel productive when sitting on the couch. If you’re able to, set up at the dining table or countertop. This & this laptop table are a good option if space is limited for you!
+ Keep things clean! I don’t know about you, but for me it’s nearly impossible to focus and be productive in a messy / cluttered house. During a time of staying home way more than usual, there’s definitely extra time to clean! Keep the dishes done, counters clean, laundry folded. It’s way easier to stay focused and sane in a clean environment.
+ Stay busy & keep activities on hand! I certainly don’t get bored spending a lot of time watching Netflix but you can only do that for so long. Make sure to keep some activities around whether you’re alone or with others. Read books, do puzzles, be creative!
+ Staying home means eating at home a lot. I know a ton of us are used to eating out or not really knowing what to eat when we have to make it ourselves. It’s important to try and still eat healthy and not resort to junk! It’s the perfect time to stock up on easy snacks to eat throughout the day. I love my Safe + Fair snacks so much!
